Brands, Logos, Slogans
1) Can you explain what a brand, logo and slogan is?
The point of a 'Logo' is to make sure people recognise your company/brand by its logo, which can make it easy for people to identify and visualise your company.
The main point of a 'Brand' is to make sure the buyer or consumers trust the product and to help people understand the company and help them with their customers and help them find their desired product or need.
A 'Slogan' is a catchy phrase which is meant to catch the viewers eye, to make them want your product, but slogans can also provide information about the product, company or service to the customers.
2) Find 4 images that you like (the logo, not the necessarily product, is it the same thing)
3) Which logo do you think is most successful? Why? Explain why you picked each one?
I think that PSN (PlayStation Network) is most successful because of its buyers, before the PS4 was released, Xbox ran the gaming market with its amazing games and console since 2005 all the way to 2014, this is because the PS4 came out November 15th, 2013 and majority of old gen console holders moved to the PS4 when it was released because of its upgraded game specs and the way the whole console ran, was smooth and clean compared to the old consoles, then a week later, the Xbox One was released and despite it being the latest console, majority of the gaming community stayed with the latest PS4 rather than the Xbox due to the features the Xbox One didn't have.

5 Functions of Packaging
Protection- A carton of eggs. They have a strong 3D rectangular shape to keep the eggs safe and prevent it from breaking or cracking and in case of an egg cracking the carton can hold the egg yolk inside and doesn't spill the mess and contains the spillage.
Containment - It keeps the product safe and secure so that it doesn't spill or leak from its container.
Transport - Will protect the product whilst being able to carry multiple products at once and create an easier method of transport instead of carry each product one by one.

Stacking - In shops such as; Supermarkets, corner shops and high end markets, it must be possible to be able to stack packages so that space is not wasted on the shelves.
